Our server Cat was everything you want when dining out. Every bite of food was excellent. The portions are large. The homemade pasta is worth the trip if you’re not close. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes, and next time we will save room for desert.
Food was so fresh and huge portions. I loved how with any pasta dish you get a small salad with home made dressing and fresh bread. The brussel sprouts with bacon and goat cheese was amazing. Also have kids dishes, pick your own noodles and sauce. Our waitress was amazing, all the stuff was so friendly and nice. Would reccomend going here!
Wonderful restaurant with excellent food, service and atmosphere. The portions are really large and the food is amazing. You don’t often find that’s the case. Most if not all of the dishes are homemade and yes…. you can tell. All the staff was very friendly especially our server Ella, who was extremely upbeat, friendly and offered help and suggestions with our meal selections. I definitely recommend visiting if you are in search of good, homemade Italian food. Best meal of my life! My first ever experience here was great! I recommend a reservation. Even with one I waited alittle and once seated I got forgotten for a minute but I was greeted with a complimentary drink and everything after was fantastic. It was a busy night and I understand. My waitress was great and very knowledgeable on the menu. As much as I absolutely loved my pasta and delicious cheese bread I CANNOT rave enough about how delicious my salad was! I'm not a huge salad person but the dressing they put on their salads is the best you'll ever have! 10/10 recommend this restaurant if you wanna enjoy a nice evening out!
This is probably my favorite restaurant. The staff is amazing and the food exceeded my expectations! The menu changes with the seasons and they have great specials. I’ll be dreaming about the creamy beans and greens appetizer tonight.
We had a wedding celebration at Cenacolo and everything was amazing. From the beginning they worked with us to make everything so easy. The atmosphere was beautiful, the homemade pasta, appetizers and drinks were delicious. The service from Shelby ,Cat and team was perfect. Thank you for making the celebration so memorable ❤️

The best meal I've had at an Italian restaurant. Simply amazing. The service was incredible, everything is homemade and the attention to detail is impressive. The salad, bread, olives, rigatoni, gnocci, wine, limoncello. We were just blown away by the experience.

Owners Chef Steve Salvi and his wife Jen initially started hand-crafting artisan pasta right out of their basement under the brand Fede Pasta, supplying top-tier spots across the region before expanding into this dedicated dining space in 2013. The name "Cenacolo" translates to a dining room or refectory where people gather to share a meal, and they have truly built a sanctuary for those who appreciate the kinder things in life. It is incredible to see how far this family-owned business has come, and they completely delighted both my stomach and my heart. To elevate the experience even further, our server, Aby, really made our evening. She was incredibly sensitive and thoughtful to the cadence of our table's conversation, carefully entering that space with perfect timing without ever disrupting the flow of our night. If you want world-class, scratch-made pasta born from decades of genuine dedication and served with impeccable hospitality, Cenacolo is an absolute must-visit.
1st visit- live across town and have been wanting to visit for quite some time. I had high expectations and let me tell you that it exceeded expectations! Love the simple feel! Service was excellent! THE MOST FRESH AND AUTHENTIC pasta in Pittsburgh! Everything was delicious and the house made wine was also excellent! Well done! Can't wait to come back!
